Kazakhstan enters a new political era after historic parliamentary reform

Kazakhstan implemented a major parliamentary reform, replacing the former bicameral Parliament with a new unicameral legislature, the Kurultai. The new Parliament consists of 145 seats, with five parties securing representation.
