Heirs cancel plan to close property traversed by major Cotabato highway
KIDAPAWAN CITY — The heirs of a family in Makilala, Cotabato province whose lands are traversed by the national highway announced Monday they would no longer temporarily close the property tomorrow, June 2. Markjo Berg Tejada, one of the heirs of the Tejada family, said the family decided to heed the call of the Department of Public Works and Highways-Region 12 (DPWH-12) not to barricade the road within their 1.5-hectare land.
