
Nordeco stays operational amid Davao Light's takeover claims
MANILA, Philippines – The Northern Davao Electric Cooperative Inc. (Nordeco) said on Monday that it continues to operate in its franchise areas despite ongoing legal disputes over Aboitiz Power Corp.’s alleged takeover. In a statement, the power cooperative encouraged consumers to report and document instances of Davao Light and Power Co. (DLPC) replacing its kilowatt-hour meters.
