
Sandiganbayan orders arrest of Jinggoy Estrada for non-bailable plunder
MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan Fifth Division on Monday ordered the arrest of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada for a non-bailable plunder and graft case. Joining Estrada on the arrest list are former DPWH chief Manuel Bonoan and three ex-engineering officials from the National Capital Region: Assistant District Engineer Denryl Caesar Cortuna, alongside District Engineers Manny Bulusan and Arturo Gonzales Jr. Plunder is a non-bailable case and carries a penalty of life imprisonment.
