
Matibag: Protective custody for Jinggoy defies Senate stance
MANILA, Philippines — National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag said on Monday he is confident that the Senate will not take Sen. Jinggoy Estrada under its protective custody, emphasizing that otherwise, it will defy its own position.
