
Senate panel to continue flood control probe on June 4
MANILA, Philippines — The Senate blue ribbon committee will continue its inquiry into the alleged flood control anomalies on Thursday, June 4. “Please be informed that the Committee on Accountability of Public Officers and Investigations (Blue Ribbon) will conduct its ninth inquiry in aid of legislation on Thursday,” a notice addressed to senators read. The panel will assess the privilege speeches of Senators Panfilo Lacson, Jinggoy Estrada, Erwin Tulfo, and Rodante Marcoleta on the flood control scam.
