
243,000 Tupad workers to earn P5,000 each in Brigada Eskwela drive
MANILA, Philippines — The government will provide jobs to 243,000 workers nationwide to help prepare public schools for the opening of classes while providing income support to Filipino families. They will be employed under the Department of Labor and Employment’s Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (Tupad) program for Brigada Eskwela, starting on Monday (June 1), and are expected to receive P5,000 for their work.
