Alas Pilipinas men and women qualify for Asian Games

MANILA, Philippines–The country’s men’s and women’s teams in indoor volleyball earned berths to the Nagoya-Aichi Asian Games this September. “This is great news for our volleyball program,” said Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino, who announced the development on Monday after receiving an email from the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) over the weekend.
