
Palace commends Jinggoy Estrada for surrendering to police
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Monday commended Sen. Jinggoy Estrada for surrendering to police following his plunder and graft charges in connection with the flood control projects scandal. “Sen. Jinggoy did the right thing by voluntarily surrendering. He did not make things difficult for law enforcers, unlike what is happening now with Senator [Ronald] Bato [dela Rosa],” Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in Filipino.
