Sara Duterte responds to articles of impeachment

MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Sara Duterte’s camp on Monday filed an answer to the articles of impeachment soon to be taken up by the Senate as an impeachment court. A writ of summons was issued by the impeachment court to give Duterte 10 days, or until today, to answer to the complaint against her. The prosecution, made up of members of the House of Representatives, will then file a reply within five days of receiving Duterte’s answer.
