CEBU CITY, Philippines — A young couple’s trip home ended in tragedy after their motorcycle crashed along the national highway in San Fernando town, Cebu, early Saturday morning, May 30, killing the 21-year-old rider and injuring his girlfriend. Police identified the fatality as Franz Ruel Cabanada, 21, a resident of Buhisan, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City. His girlfriend and back rider, Riolyn Trisana, 20, also from Buhisan, suffered injuries and remained under medical observation.
