P35.4-M smuggled onions, garlic seized in Nueva Ecija

TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — Authorities on Monday seized P35.4 million worth of allegedly smuggled onions and garlic in a cold storage facility in Barangay Calipahan here during an inspection led by Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno and National Bureau of Investigation Director Melvin Matibag.
