
Remulla: No special treatment for Jinggoy Estrada, Bonoan
MANILA, Philippines — Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla assured that there will be no special treatment for Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, ex-Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan and their three co-accused. All five accused had been taken into government custody on Monday afternoon after the Sandiganbayan fifth division ordered their arrest over plunder charges in connection with the flood control scandal.
