Watch: Shark Spotted By Malta’s Fish Farms off Island’s Southern Coast

A shark was spotted in Malta’s waters this weekend, with a group of fishermen sounding visibly excited by the encounter “Does anyone here know what species it is?” Facebook page Is-Sajjied asked, sharing the footage this afternoon of the shark’s brief appearance… along with the fishermen saying it seems to be “attacking something”, potentially a tuna or large fish. Another person tagged a fisherman who incidentally spotted another shark off Malta’s coast this weekend… but he promptly replied saying “this one’s too small” compared to the one he saw. With the warm summer months kicking off, it looks like it’s set to be another eventful season on Malta’s seas.
