Alex Eala, Nikola Bartunkova exit Birmingham Open doubles in first round

Alex Eala and Nikola Bartunkova lost their first-round doubles match to the British duo of Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden in the Lexus Birmingham Open on Monday, June 1. Lasting one hour and 28 minutes, the match went to a tiebreak, after both pairs took one set each. The Brits eventually won, 6-4, 2-6, 11-9.
