PNP on ‘heightened readiness’ for rainy season

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on Monday said the law enforcement agency was on “heightened readiness” for this year’s rainy season. “The PNP is ready for whatever challenges the weather may bring.
