Cebu City resumes waste hauling to Aloguinsan
LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — Cebu City resumed hauling its garbage to a private landfill in Aloguinsan town on Monday, June 1, as authorities moved to reduce the growing waste stockpile at the temporary staging area in the South Road Properties (SRP). City officials earlier raised concerns over possible environmental, public health, and safety risks caused by the continued buildup of garbage at the SRP site. Mayor Nestor Archival said the city government aims to clear the temporary dumping area within the next 15 to 30 days.
