
Another suspected cocaine pack washes ashore in Quezon town
LUCENA CITY — A fisherman in the island municipality of Patnanungan, Quezon, voluntarily surrendered to authorities a package of suspected cocaine worth an estimated P5.8 million after finding it along the shoreline, police reported Tuesday. According to a spot report from the Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO), the 39-year-old fisherman, identified only as “Den,” turned over the tape-sealed plastic package to the Patnanungan police station at around 8 p.m. on Monday.
