
Cebu launches Right to Care Program through new executive order
CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro signed the Right to Care Program Executive Order on the first day of Pride Month, June 1, allowing Cebuanos to formally designate a trusted person to act as their care partner for healthcare, emergency, and social protection purposes across the province. Executive Order No. 29 establishes the Right to Care Program and sets guidelines for recognizing designated care partners in provincial and district hospitals, as well as other provincial government services.
