Senate majority ‘no-show’ again in plenary
MANILA, Philippines — The majority senators did not show up to the plenary session for a second time on Tuesday, Sen. Migz Zubiri said. Around 20 minutes into the supposed hearing at 3 p.m. Zubiri told the media that Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano called the Senate secretary. “Alan called and said they will no longer be coming,” Zubiri said in Filipino.
