Mt. Apo starts annual 3-month break
DAVAO CITY — The Mt. Apo Natural Park (MANP) is now off limits to visitors until August 31 as part of its annual off-season closure to allow it to rest and recuperate, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Davao Region (DENR-Davao) said. The Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) approved En Banc Resolution 8, Series of 2021, ordering the shutdown of the MANP to visitors starting on Monday. The measure prohibits all trekking and camping activities inside the Mt. Apo Natural Park for three months.
