
Cebu Province records 319 HIV cases in 2025; youngest confirmed case aged 12
CEBU CITY, Philippines — A 12-year-old was among the more than 300 confirmed human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases recorded in Cebu Province last year, marking the youngest patient affected as health officials continued to monitor the disease’s spread.
