VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Despite being the largest public elementary school in Bukidnon in terms of enrollment, Valencia City Central School continues to struggle with chronic classroom shortages and recurring flooding, problems school officials say require urgent intervention from the Department of Education (DepEd). As schools nationwide conducted Brigada Eskwela preparations ahead of the June 8 opening of classes for School Year 2026-2027, teachers and volunteers at Valencia City Central School were once again repairing aging and dilapidated classrooms to keep them usable for thousands of learners.
