
Lacson, Tulfo: Ethics complaint vs Cayetano over Senate boycott possible
MANILA, Philippines — Minority Senators Panfilo Lacson and Erwin Tulfo floated the possibility of filing an ethics complaint against Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano over the continued absence of the majority bloc, led by Cayetano, from Senate sessions. According to Lacson, the Cayetano-led Senate boycott may be considered a dereliction of duty and could serve as grounds for a complaint by any taxpayer before the Senate ethics committee. “Our disciplinary mechanism is the ethics committee.
