Wildlife worth P3.5M rescued from Medellin resort

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu – Various wildlife species worth P3.5 million were rescued by CIDG-Mandaue City Field Unit Office agents from a resort in Barangay Kawit, Medellin town on Wednesday morning, June 3. The seizure of various wildlife was done through a lawful wildlife rescue and enforcement operation. The operation was conducted in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Medellin Municipal Police Office, and the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO).
