Global dance music superstar Afrojack and Maltese pop star AIDAN have officially joined Katy Perry on the Isle of MTV Malta 2026 lineup, setting the stage for one of the island’s biggest music events of the summer. The announcement was made during today’s Isle of MTV Malta launch, with organisers confirming that Afrojack will return to the Fosos in Floriana on 22nd July. The Dutch DJ and producer is one of the biggest names in electronic dance music, with a catalogue packed with international hits and collaborations alongside some of the industry’s biggest artists. Fresh off the release of ‘Awake Tonight’ with David Guetta and Sia, Afrojack is set to bring his trademark festival energy back to Malta. Fans looking for even more can also catch him performing a special KAPUCHON set at the Official Isle of MTV After Party at Gianpula Village. Joining him on stage will be Malta’s own AIDAN, who recently represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 and released his latest album ‘Cowboys Don’t Cry’. The singer, who holds the record for the most number-one singles in Malta, described the opportunity to perform in front of a home crowd at Isle of MTV as something particularly special. Now in its 18th edition, Isle of MTV Malta has become one of the country’s most anticipated annual events, attracting thousands of music fans from Malta and abroad while bringing some of the world’s biggest artists to the island.
