PNP calls for calm as Senate tensions simmer

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) urged the public not to let recent political tensions in the Senate escalate. “While we acknowledge certain calls for a peaceful vigil, we strongly urge all groups—whether supporters or critics—to maintain sobriety, to exercise maximum restraint, and to respect our laws,” PNP chief Gen.
