Exiled for an anti-war drawing: Russian father and daughter who opposed Putin

It's the moving story of a Russian father and daughter who oppose Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine. It all began in March 2022. Then, 12 year old Maria drew a picture in school, against the offensive launched one month earlier. She was immediately denounced by the people around her... the FSB visited her school and home. Her father was eventually arrested for supporting his daughter and speaking out against the war. He was convicted of discrediting the Russian army. Upon being released from the penal colony, they left Russia, and are now refugees in Strasbourg. This report by Elena Volochine (English adapt Lauren Bain).
