
CIDG nabs resort manager for keeping endangered wildlife in Cebu
MANILA, Philippines — A resort manager was arrested for allegedly keeping endangered wildlife without authorization in Cebu, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said on Thursday. Identified only by the alias “Lyn,” 55, the resort manager was arrested in Barangay Kawit, Medellin on Wednesday morning. “[She] was caught while keeping, in possession and control of the wildlife animals species displayed in the resort premises without the necessary permits from the DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources),” the CIDG explained.
