Luistro: House to heed Gatchalian's orders on Duterte impeachment trial
MANILA, Philippines — If the two warring camps in the Senate send their directives regarding the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, the prosecution team will heed the instructions of acting Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian, Batangas Rep. Gerville Luistro said on Thursday. Luistro, lead prosecutor for the impeachment trial, explained in an online interview that the prosecution team follows only the position of the institution it represents, the House of Representatives.
