Murder of teenage girl sparks protests across Argentina – video
Large-scale protests took place in parts of Argentina on Wednesday after the killing of Agostina Vega, 14, in the central city of Córdoba. Agostina's body was found in a drainage ditch on Saturday, a week after she disappeared, as vigils in her home province erupted into clashes with police. Her family had filed a missing person report on the morning she disappeared, but more than 80 hours passed before an alert was sent to the phones of Córdoba residents. The protests, calling for a stronger government response to femicide, come 11 years after the murder of Chiara Páez, also 14, prompted the Not One Woman Less movement
