As Israel enters another challenging summer, thousands of reservists remain on active duty, leaving their families to manage on the home front. With school out, many mothers are left juggling work, childcare, and the daily responsibilities their husbands would normally share, all while searching for safe and reliable summer programs for their children.

Why It Matters

After more than two and a half years of war, many of these families are running on empty. Children need a place where they can feel secure, have fun, and simply enjoy being kids. Their mothers need the reassurance that while they work their children are safe and cared for each day.

What Are We Providing?

This summer, Ten Gav is providing day camps for more than 800 children of reservists.

The camps offer:

– Supervised, structured activities

– Healthy meals

– Emotional support for children coping with ongoing uncertainty

– Peace of mind for mothers balancing work and parenting alone

Our Goal

We aim to raise 750,000 NIS / $260,000 USD to send 800 children of reservists to summer camps.
