When does the ABC Classic 100: Greatest of All Time countdown starts?

Each year, ABC Classic celebrates the top 100 pieces of music chosen by audiences in a particular theme on the first weekend in June.

This year the theme is Greatest of All Time.

In 2026, it lands on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.

The countdown kicks off at 10AM AEST each day and airs live around the country.

•    New South Wales: Saturday June 6 — Sunday June7, 10am — 6pm

•    Queensland: Saturday June 6 — Sunday June7, 10am — 6pm

How can I listen to the ABC Classic 100: Greatest of All Time on the weekend?

The ABC Classic 100: Greatest of all Time will be broadcast on ABC Classic.

You can stream online through the ABC Classic website, and the ABC Listen app, drop in with your DAB/digital radio, or go the classic route and tune in on your FM radio.

Will there be a concert based on music from the ABC Classic 100: Greatest of All Time?

The ABC Classic 100 in Concert, featuring the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is happening on Friday June 19 at 7:30pm and Saturday June 20 at 2pm at Melbourne's Hamer Hall.

You can watch the concert on ABC TV and ABC iview and hear it on ABC Classic on Saturday June 27 at 7:30pm.
