The Labour Party has unveiled their online platform dubbed the “Social Media Battle Dashboard”, a data-driven tool designed to track how Malta’s political parties and key figures performed across social media during the election.
Launched yesterday, the dashboard was developed by 110 Analytics and offers a real-time snapshot of the online battle for views between Malta’s major political players.
The platform aggregates publicly available social media data, allowing users to compare follower growth, engagement levels, posting activity and other digital performance indicators across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other major platforms.
The launch comes just days after Malta’s election, highlighting the growing role social media continues to play in shaping political discourse long after votes have been cast.
The dashboard also reflects a broader trend towards data-driven political analysis, giving campaign teams, journalists and voters a clearer picture of which messages resonate online and which political figures generate the most engagement.
110 Analytics has previously worked on political data visualisation projects, including interactive election data platforms that break down voting patterns and electoral trends across Malta.
While the election may be over, the battle for the viewers attention online continues.
Labour’s latest digital initiative offers a new way of tracking how Malta’s politicians and parties perform across an increasingly influential digital landscape.
