EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Francisco Ramos is set to release a new hour-long special, Francisco Ramos: Still Learning, on TVOD via Comedy Dynamics on June 9.
Produced by Super Nice Guys, with filming taking place at The Triad Theater in New York City, Still Learning dives into the lessons that don’t come with instructions: marriage, therapy, eating with other people, and even learning how to dance in the U.S. From cultural misunderstandings to relationship realizations, the special explores how we’re all still learning — especially when we think we’ve got it figured out.
“I’ve been doing this long enough to realize the more I learn, the more I realize I’m still figuring it out,” Ramos said. “That’s the show. That’s my life.”
Ramos is a Venezuelan American stand-up and actor whose last special Venezuela’Merican, produced by Brad Garrett and 800 Pound Gorilla, was released in 2024. At this year’s Netflix Is a Joke Fest, he became the first to perform an all-Spanish stand-up set in the Original Room at The Comedy Store.
Ramos stars in the indie action comedy The Unexpecteds, produced by Kevin Smith, provided voice work for the animated film Rio, and has made guest appearances on Shameless, Lady Dynamite, Gentefied, and This Fool. He reached the Top 10 on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and also appears in the Entre Nos comedy specials on HBO Max.
Francisco Ramos: Still Learning is directed and produced by Charlie Fonville. Jack Vaughn, Jay Siegan, and Justin Silvera served as executive producers.
Ramos is repped by Innovative Artists, Silvera Arougheti Entertainment Group, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
