A truck driver has been rushed to hospital after her vehicle rolled over on the Princes Freeway, causing major road delays in Melbourne's west.
Fire Rescue Victoria said it took 45 minutes to rescue the 61-year-old woman, who was trapped.
Several tonnes of chipboard lay scattered over the freeway and the slope beside the wrecked truck.
A fire spokesperson said it would take several hours to clean up the debris from the roadway.
He said it was not the first time an incident like had happened on the same bend in the road.
Victoria's transport department said all city-bound lanes of the Princes Freeway onto the West Gate Freeway and Geelong Road were closed.
The ramp from the M80 Ring Road Altona-bound onto the Princes Freeway is also closed.
Ambulance Victoria said its crews responded to the incident just before 7:30am on Saturday, and that Advanced Life Support paramedics treated one person at the scene and transported them to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
