Malta Squad Erupts In Celebration After Beating Azerbaijan

Malta celebrated a deserved victory over Azerbaijan after goals from Joseph Mbong and Alexander Satariano secured a 2-0 win in a friendly played in Hungary.

The breakthrough came through Mbong, whose goal sparked immediate celebrations from the Maltese squad after a tightly contested opening period.

Azerbaijan responded with pressure in search of an equaliser, but Malta remained organised and continued to threaten on the counter.

The result was put beyond doubt when Satariano finished off a well-worked move to double Malta’s advantage, triggering another jubilant reaction from players and staff.
