Watch: Man Hospitalised After Suffering Medical Episode While Swimming In St Julian’s

An elderly man was rushed to hospital this morning after suffering a medical episode while swimming in St Julian’s.

The incident occurred at around 8am, when the man, who is understood to be advanced in age, encountered difficulties while in the water.

A rescue operation was immediately launched, with people on site assisting the swimmer before emergency services arrived.

The man was successfully brought to shore and given medical assistance before being transported to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

At this stage, the man’s condition has not yet been officially confirmed.

More information is expected as authorities continue to assess the situation.
