Malta has received a glowing endorsement from Forbes Italia, which recently described the islands as a destination of “sophisticated charm” and “surprisingly authentic” experiences.
In a post shared on social media, the Italian edition of the renowned business magazine encouraged travellers to “forget the usual itineraries” and discover a different side of Malta.
According to Forbes Italia, the archipelago is increasingly establishing itself as a new luxury destination in the Mediterranean, thanks to its blend of history, culture and high-end hospitality.
The publication highlighted Malta’s UNESCO-listed fortified cities, designer boutique hotels and crystal-clear waters, while also pointing to the islands’ rich cultural heritage.
From the works of Caravaggio housed in Valletta to contemporary design influences and the prehistoric temples of Ħaġar Qim, Forbes Italia said Malta offers a journey “where history breathes and the future takes shape”.
The feature adds to a growing list of international publications spotlighting Malta as a premium travel destination, with the islands continuing to attract visitors seeking both luxury and authenticity.
