
Just a week after bagging the crown at the first-ever MGI All Stars competition, Vanessa Pulgarin is set for her first official overseas trip. And her destination is the Philippines.
The Colombian charmer is set to arrive in Manila on June 9, and will be in the country until June 11. She will be flying from Bangkok, Thailand.
Pulgarin bested 55 other contenders from 38 countries in the inaugural staging of MGI All Stars, that culminated at the MGI Hall in Bangkok on May 30.

The groundbreaking competition, mounted by the Miss Grand International Organization of Nawat Itsaragrisil, gathered veterans from global pageants.

Pulgarin was in the Top 12 of the 74th Miss Universe pageant held last year, also in Thailand. She also joined the 2017 Miss International pageant in Japan.
MGI All Stars announced her visit to the Philippines on social media on Saturday, May 30, but no other details of her trip were released.
The clash of veterans has also opened applications for its second season, where Pulgarin will return to defend her title, and for a chance to raise her $100,000 prize to $1 million if she wins in three consecutive editions.

MGI All Stars is open to international pageant veterans, 20 to 40 years old, regardless of marital status. Mothers and transgender women are also allowed to compete.
Five candidates from the Philippines took part in the May competition, including Gazini Ganados who finished in the Top 5. She was in the Top 20 of the 2019 Miss Universe pageant. /edv
