Energy sector assesses impact of strong Mindanao quake

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Energy (DOE) is now assessing the impact on critical power networks after the powerful 7.8-magnitude quake that hit Mindanao on Monday morning. The agency said it is in close coordination with electric cooperatives, distribution utilities, and oil industry stakeholders.
