
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is investigating those behind false social media posts claiming the June 8 class opening was postponed, warning that those responsible may face legal action. In a statement on Monday, PNP chief, Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. ordered the Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) to trace the origin of the misleading posts. “The PNP condemns the spread of false information that causes confusion among students, parents, and the public.
