MANILA, Philippines — Another 14 “former employees” of ex-Congressman Zaldy Co are prepared to face the Senate probe, Atty. Levito Baligod confirmed on Monday.
They will join the initial 18 self-confessed bagmen who allegedly delivered luggage full of cash to government officials involved in the flood control scandal.
Baligod said he will submit the names of the fourteen to Sen. Robin Padilla, whom they acknowledge as a member of the Senate blue ribbon committee.

He added that another seven may be presented to the Senate, but their situation is currently “sensitive.”
Sen. Erwin Tulfo was elected as the panel’s chairperson in place of Sen. Pia Cayetano; however, the Cayetano bloc insists that Tulfo’s election is invalid. /mr
