A new wellness initiative focused on female longevity, health and personal development has made its debut in the Algarve, bringing together women for an evening dedicated to wellbeing, learning and self-care.
The first edition of Regenerar took place on May 30 aboard an AlgarExperience boat at sunset and offered participants a three-hour programme combining expert-led discussions with mindfulness and nature-based activities.
Led by physician Ana Cardoso and functional nutritionist Safira Carvalho, the event explored topics including female longevity, menopause, functional nutrition and the benefits of an integrated approach to women’s health.
Organisers said the initiative was designed to create a space where women could slow down, reflect and reconnect with themselves in a supportive environment.
Alongside talks and group discussions, participants were invited to enjoy time by the sea, sample healthy refreshments and take part in a sunset meditation session.
The event was held in an intimate setting designed to encourage learning, conversation and connection with both nature and personal wellbeing.
Regenerar combines scientific knowledge with practical wellbeing strategies, drawing on the natural surroundings of the Algarve coast to create what organisers describe as a restorative and inspiring experience.
Several wellbeing-focused brands supported the initiative, including Nutergia, La Roche-Posay, Aquelakombucha and Soulseeds.
According to organisers, participants highlighted the quality of the information shared, the welcoming atmosphere and the unique setting by the sea among the event’s most memorable aspects.
Following the positive response to its inaugural edition, Regenerar is expected to become part of a broader programme of events organised by AlgarExperience, with a focus on encouraging women to invest in their health, knowledge and quality of life.
