Moving to Portugal: 2026 Summer Webinar Series

The Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK has announced the launch of its 2026 Summer Webinar Series, designed for British nationals who are considering moving to, living in, investing in or buying property in Portugal.

The Chamber hosts four in-person Moving to Portugal Shows and Seminars in England, Scotland and Ireland each year, giving British and Irish residents direct access to trusted professionals who can explain the practical, financial and legal steps involved in relocating to Portugal.

This new webinar series will build on this established programme of live events by giving attendees the opportunity to access clear, expert-led guidance online.

The 2026 Summer Webinar Series will bring together Chamber members and companies from the relocation, residency, tax, law, banking, investment, healthcare, education and property sectors. Each webinar will focus on one of the main topics people need to research when considering Portugal as a place to live, invest or establish a long-term base.

Webinar 1: Living in Portugal (Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 4pm)

For many people, the decision to move to Portugal is shaped not only by visas and property considerations, but by the realities of daily life. This session will explore what it means to settle in Portugal, from healthcare, health insurance and hospitals to schools, local communities, language and the practical steps that can make relocation more straightforward. Webinar 2: Investing in Portugal (Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 4pm)

Portugal continues to attract international interest from those looking for a European base, long-term asset diversification and structured investment opportunities. This webinar will examine Portugal’s investment landscape, including banking, regulated investment options, Golden Visa-related routes to residency and wider financial considerations for international investors. Webinar 3: Residency in Portugal (Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 4pm)

Understanding the right residency option for you is one of the most important steps in planning your move to Portugal. This session will provide an overview of the main visa options, including routes for those planning to become tax resident and spend more than 183 days per year in the country. It will also consider the legal, tax and practical issues that should be reviewed before making a move. Register here

Buying property in Portugal requires an understanding of the market, the buying process and the legal protections available to international purchasers. This webinar will look at key property locations, current buyer demand, pricing trends and the main issues to consider when choosing, reserving and completing on a property in Portugal.
