Adrien Brody Shares Secret to Lasting Relationship With Georgina Chapman

Adrien Brody couldn't have asked for a grander romance.

As the actor navigates his Broadway debut in The Fear of 13, he shared a glimpse into how his relationship with longtime love Georgina Chapman has continued to thrive despite their busy schedules.

"She's super generous," Brody exclusively told E! News on the 2026 Tony Awards red carpet June 7. "It's a routine at this point. We both understand our hectic lives, but she's incredibly generous in her spirit."

In fact, he has the perfect way to describe her: "My partner in crime."

As for what makes the fashion designer—whom the Oscar winner was first linked to in 2019—the perfect person to have by his side?

"You need to find that person who has those qualities," the 53-year-old explained at the 79th annual ceremony in New York City, "and who is actually generous of spirit and gets you and can tolerate you and your work and your profession and your immersions in that."

As he put it, "It takes a certain type."

Chapman—who had previously ended her relationship with convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein in 2017 after nearly a decade of marriage—proved that she more than tolerates Brody's work.

After all, the 50-year-old was all smiles on the red carpet at Radio City Music Hall as she attended the award ceremony with Brody.

The Grand Budapest Hotel actor was grateful for Chapman's support as he dove into uncharted territory while starring as Nick Yarris, a man who was on death row for more than two decades for a murder he did not commit, during his 16-week run through July 12.

"It's a vastly different process from my normal routine of doing my work," he shared on the Broadway Show with Tamsen Fadal in April. "Movies aren't easy, but you have a lot at your disposal to assist when things don't flow."

"I think the joy and pain of doing theater is your own physical, emotional, intellectual being has to carry the responsibility of remaining present and editing; being aware of timing, humor, depth, relationships with the other characters, pacing of the play," he continued. "You have to carry that responsibility night after night and be present in the shoes of the person you're playing."
