Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Son Maddox Files to Drop Pitt From Name
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son enjoyed a knockout of a day.
Knox graduated high school on June 5, marking the accomplishment with an unusual celebration: a Muy Thai fight.
“Tonight, I'm gonna be fighting at Total Sonic Knockout 5 at 12:45 a.m., so catch me,” the 17-year-old told the gathered crowd during his graduation, as seen in a clip shared to social media. “I'm gonna knock ‘em the f--k out!”
The comment from the teen, who was dressed in a purple graduation robe along with a cap and lei, earned cheers and clapping from the seated audience—including from his mom and twin sister Vivienne.
In addition to the twins, Brad and Angelina—who finalized their contentious divorce in December 2024—are parents to kids Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, and Shiloh, 20.
Total Sonic Knockout, per the event’s YouTube page, is a combination rave-fight event, with the June 5 event in Los Angeles featuring fights from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Photos obtained by People from the event show Knox, whose hair is currently dyed orange-blonde, as he fought against his opponent in the ring. He donned black shorts and matching boxing gloves for the occasion.
And this isn’t the first time Knox has stepped into a ring. Back in July 2025, the then-16-year-old competed in and ultimately won the IKF Point Muay Thai Technical event, per TMZ. He posed with a medal around his neck following the victory.

But while some of Brad and Angelina’s brood have sought out entertainment adjacent passion projects as they grow into adulthood—Shiloh has danced in K-pop star Dayoung’s April music video, while Maddox served as assistant director on his mom’s film Couture—it’s unlikely any of the six will opt for onscreen projects.
As Angelina previously explained at the 2025 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, “They’re really not interested. They really don’t like, if any, the celebrity part of it. Especially Shiloh hates it."
Overall, the Maleficent actress wants her kids to do whatever it is they want to do.
"I think for my children, there’s so much I feel I’m never doing enough or right," she continued during the panel, "but I hope I’m giving them space to figure out who they actually are and something that they want to live for that’s authentic to them so it holds in their life."
