Casual elections for the PN MP’s will be held across seven electoral divisions to fill vacant seats in Malta’s House of Representatives, the Electoral Commission has announced.
The elections were called after Stephen Spiteri, Mark Anthony Sammut, Conrad Borg Manché, Adrian Delia, Rebekah Borg, Joseph Giglio and Alex Borg ceded their seats in the Third, Tenth, Fifth, Seventh, Seventh, Tenth and Twelfth electoral divisions respectively.
The President of Malta has formally commissioned the Electoral Commission to conduct the elections, with the writ published in today’s Government Gazette.
Eligible candidates who contested the respective districts in the 30th May 2026 general election but were not elected may submit nominations between 9th and 13th June at the Electoral Commission offices in Naxxar or online through the commission’s website.
Vote counting is scheduled to begin on 16th June.
Who do you think will secure these seats?
