A "Death by Chicken" chicken burger and Chicken Katsu Garden Salad sold by Pak 'N Save Rangiora have been recalled because of safety concerns.
The Ministry for Primary Industries said it was concerned about the possibility of the chicken being undercooked.
The recall affects products with a best-before date of 11 June.
The products were sold from Rangiora Pak 'N Save and they should not be eaten, MPI said.
They could be returned for a refund or thrown away.

"There have been no reports of associated illness, however if you have consumed any this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.
Foodstuffs said food safety and customer wellbeing were its highest priority.
"As soon as this was identified, the affected products were removed from sale and we worked with New Zealand Food Safety to initiate a recall
"Our team quickly identified how this occurred and has taken immediate steps to fix the issue and prevent it from happening again. We can confirm this issue does not affect any other products.
"We sincerely apologise for the concern this has caused. Customers who have purchased the affected products are advised not to consume them and can return them to the store for a full refund."
