A Maltese musician is continuing to make waves on the international stage after performing at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball 2026 at Wembley Stadium alongside British singer-songwriter Myles Smith.
Drummer Daniel Said, who forms part of Myles Smith’s touring band, returned to one of the UK’s biggest live music events after also performing at the 2025 edition of the Summertime Ball, cementing his place in one of the fastest-rising live acts in pop music.
The appearance comes ahead of a major milestone for Smith, whose highly anticipated debut album is set for release on 19th June.
Speaking about the band’s packed schedule, Daniel revealed that the summer is only just getting started. Following the album launch, Myles Smith and his band will once again join global superstar Ed Sheeran on selected dates across the United States.
The collaboration marks another chapter in a growing relationship between Smith and Sheeran, with the British singer-songwriter personally backing Smith’s rapid rise over the last year.
After supporting Sheeran on tour, the band will embark on its own North American tour, bringing Smith’s music to audiences across the continent as his international profile continues to soar.
For Daniel, performing in front of tens of thousands of fans at Wembley Stadium and touring alongside some of the biggest names in music represents a remarkable achievement, and another example of Maltese talent making its mark on the global stage.
With an album launch, a major US support tour and a headline North American run all lined up, 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet for Myles Smith and Daniel helping drive the rhythm behind his success.
